Shelter Island
Project Description: Design of new residence with site design and landscape integration.
Architectural Initiatives: The spaces of the residence are organized to form an entry court and delineate primary spaces with optimized water view opportunities and secondary utility spaces organized along a circulation spine. Covered exterior living areas and extensive waterfront terrace areas further promote interaction between interior and exterior spaces. Through the use of cement stucco exterior wall finishes and slate tile roofing, the building exudes a sense of permanence and stability in a potentially challenging environment.
